Published 2 months ago in My life.what’s the point in writting a post when it doesn’t get posted, I’m sick of seeing the same old posts for 2,3,4 months or more, you might not like what I write but it get’s people talking and I get rid of them if I’ve had a week or so with no response or I just feel like it, come on nooksters have another G & T and get writting or at least get rid of your old posts please.

Sorry true blue, I cant access my password anymore. So looks like no more posts from me. I pop in every now and then just to see if its picked up or not. Sadly its not the same anymore. whomever is in charge of the nook now, obviously has no passion for it.
I didn’t know you could delete posts though.
folks, i liked the Nook because of its ease of use, friendliness, and fun ‘posties’ it had originally. i find this site excellent technically. and it has improved over time with features aplenty. just need to ask.
however, the job of an administrator and/or moderator of a site like this should be more than being a ‘legalise’ word policeman and/or a technical boffin.
i thought that the ’shadowmaster’ idea to have a cyberspace village community would enable the site to be vibrant and attract many participants. i note with amazement that my posts are still being viewed at times by more than 100 views a day. i blame mary walsh for that, since i responded to her comments many times. so the potential is there.
it is clear that Nook must have a contents editor for each section to ensure that discussion ideas and/or interesting information bits & pieces generate the traffic on this site. the best example of this is rsvp site. have a look at that.
I wrote a post a month ago that I have never seen come up as a recent post (and yes, I agree that I may have missed it). It was (as usual) a bit of a rant, but it was about a local issue…
I post sometimes, and my posts go up on my nook, but not on the main page, so no one reads them unless they stumble upon my nook via google or something.
It’s really discouraging… this site used to be so awesome, I wish they’d just fix all the bugs and bring it back to life, maybe more of the “original nooksters” would come back.
Still, I can’t really complain, bugs or not I got an iPod out of Nook that I use for 12 hours a week.
Yeah, its a bit of a deadwater in here, don’t you think?
Maintaining this Nook is not their job, it doesn’t earn an income for them. They offer a service which is very flexible….One thing age does provide is patience….if you don’t get what you want from one provider, you shop around. I must admit, originally I was very optimistic about the possibilities but the moderating just cuts many discussions down at the knees.
Instead of posting and then waiting to see if any one cries “Bad Content”, every single entry is put under a microscope. If OnLineOpinions operated like that, there would be no public discussions about any issues at all and they deal with thousands of entries.
I am pleased to see that YoungAtHeart makes up for my cynicism!.
